NY State certified program which prepares students for the Licensed Practical Nursing Examination. Students are qualified for two or four year college programs and can either enter the workplace or receive enter a two or four year Registered Nurse program.
The Dental Assistant Program prepares students for employment in dental offices and clinics as well as for two year dental hygiene programs at community colleges. Students are eligible to take the National Certified Dental Assistant Exam in Radiology, Health, and Safety.
Students learn to make dentures, inlays, partials, bridges, and castings. Graduates are qualified for entry-level employment in a dental lab or sales and supplies.
Provides students with medical assistant skills used for employment in medical offices. Students are also trained in the administrative and computer skills used for employment in medical offices, including medical billing and coding and medical transcription.
Provides students with skills needed to interpret and fill eyeglass and contact lens prescriptions. Each term consists of a double period class, one period of theory and one period of laboratory work in a state of the art vision technology lab.
Students provide direct patient care for entry-level employment under the supervision of a registered nurse. Provides basic skills needed for employment in supervised care facilities. Students are eligible to take the NY State Certified Nurse Assistant Exam.
